Carting thousands of blankets around South Africa isn’t an easy task, which is why it’s so important for our KAS volunteers to have access to a vehicle in good condition, with a full tank of fuel.
From collecting squares and taking them to get sewn up, to driving those blankets out to South African crèches and townships where AIDs orphans and children at risk live, the car is vital in the process of getting squares from the knitting needles to the kids, but it can’t happen without fuel!
Your generous donation to the KAS Operations Fund will help towards the cost of fuel to drive to and from a distribution, and will help us to get blankets to the children who need them most.
